Εργάστηκε ως Διευθυντής Νευροχειρουργικής Κλινικής στο Πανεπιστημιακό Νοσοκομείο στο Stoke on Trent (UHNM) και ως Διευθυντής Νευροχειρουργικής Κλινικής και Κλινική Σπονδυλικής Στήλης στο New Cross, Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust επί σειρά ετών. He graduated with honors from the Medical School of Varna University and holds a Master's degree in Metabolic Bone Diseases from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
