He holds a medical degree from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and specialized in Pathology at the Pathology Clinic of the General Hospital of Patissia and in Gastroenterology at the Gastroenterology Clinic of the General Hospital of Athens "Korgialeneio - Benakeio" - Hellenic Red Cross.
