He initiated and completed his Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology residency at the University General Hospital of Larissa in the Orthopedic Clinic Department under the direction of Professor K.N. Malizos. He is a PhD candidate at the Medical School of the University of Thessaly. During the final year of his residency, he trained in shoulder and knee arthroscopic surgery at the Minimal Access Surgery Unit of the I.R.C.C.S. GSD Hospital, Milan, Italy, under Professor and Director Prof. Pietro Randelli. He also trained in M.I.S. Fast Track total hip and knee arthroplasty and arthroscopic surgery at the Luganese Hospital, Lugano, Switzerland, under Professor and Director Prof. Mateo Denti. Immediately after obtaining his specialty certification, he was appointed as a permanent consultant at the Minimal Access Surgery Unit of the I.R.C.C.S. GSD Hospital, Milan, Italy, under Professor and Director Prof. Pietro Randelli.
