I am a Greek Clinical Psychologist (MSc) - Psychotherapist that has lived in Greece, Italy and Netherlands. During the last years, I have gained a diverse range of clinical experiences working with individuals and families with a variety of mental health and developmental conditions. I completed my BSc in Psychology at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, followed by an MSc degree in Clinical Psychology at Utrecht University. During my Bachelor's Internship at Papanikolaou Psychiatric Hospital of Thessaloniki, I participated in group therapy sessions, consisted of individuals diagnosed with Schizophrenia, Bipolar disorder and other psychotic disorders. I also gained experience in family and couple therapy, utilizing the systemic approach. During my Master's Internship at the Psychiatric Facilities of the General Hospital of Corfu, I provided psychoeducational interventions to individuals diagnosed with Schizophrenia and to their families, as well as one-on-one psychotherapy sessions to individuals struggling with emotional issues. At the same time, I participated in group sessions with individuals hospitalized at the Detox Unit of the clinic, who were struggling with addiction issues. During my working experience at a Dyslexia Center, I provided counseling to parents, as well as I conducted individual sessions with children and adolescents diagnosed with ADHD, Autism, and other developmental disabilities. In addition, I promoted social skills learning through the use of board games, CBT techniques, role-playing, and various psychoeducational materials. My decision to pursue a career as a psychotherapist stems from a profound love for understanding the intricacies of the human soul. This profession brings me immense fulfillment as it allows me to help individuals feel heard, gain deep self-awareness, and piece together the complex puzzles of their lives. Through this process, I assist them in finding meaning and moving closer to a sense of wholeness.

Στο Ινστιτούτο Έρευνας και Θεραπείας της Συμπεριφοράς (ΙΕΘΣ) παρείχε Γνωσιακή–Συμπεριφοριστική Ψυχοθεραπεία ενηλίκων υπό εποπτεία και συμμετείχε στον συντονισμό ψυχοεκπαιδευτικής ομάδας δεξιοτήτων DBT.

Είναι κάτοχος του MSc in Mental Health: Psychological Therapies (Ψυχική Υγεία: Ψυχολογικές Θεραπείες) από το Queen Mary University of London, το οποίο ολοκλήρωσε με βαθμό Distinction. Κατέλαβε την 1η θέση στη σειρά αποφοίτησης στο Wolfson Institute of Preventive Medicine και συγκαταλέχθηκε μεταξύ των πέντε μεταπτυχιακών φοιτητών με την υψηλότερη ακαδημαϊκή επίδοση στο Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry. Για την ακαδημαϊκή της επίδοση τιμήθηκε με το Drapers’ Company Postgraduate Prize.

Η επαγγελματική της εμπειρία περιλαμβάνει κλινική εργασία στους Γιατρούς Χωρίς Σύνορα (Médecins Sans Frontières – MSF), στο Ινστιτούτο Έρευνας και Θεραπείας της Συμπεριφοράς, στην Caritas Hellas και στην International Rescue Committee (IRC), καθώς και εποπτευόμενη κλινική εμπειρία στην Ψυχιατρική Κλινική «Γαλήνειο Μέλαθρο». Στην ιδιωτική της πρακτική εργάζεται με ενήλικες που αντιμετωπίζουν άγχος, κρίσεις πανικού και φοβίες, ιδεοψυχαναγκαστικές δυσκολίες, κατάθλιψη και άλλες δυσκολίες διάθεσης, συνέπειες τραυματικών εμπειριών, δυσκολίες στη ρύθμιση του συναισθήματος, παρορμητικές συμπεριφορές, δυσκολίες που σχετίζονται με την προσωπικότητα και διαπροσωπικές δυσκολίες.

Η θεραπευτική της προσέγγιση είναι συνεργατική, δομημένη και εξατομικευμένη. Μετά την αρχική αξιολόγηση διαμορφώνεται από κοινού μια κατανοητή διατύπωση της περίπτωσης και συμφωνούνται συγκεκριμένοι θεραπευτικοί στόχοι. Ανάλογα με το θεραπευτικό αίτημα και τους θεραπευτικούς στόχους, η θεραπεία έχει ως κύρια βάση τη Γνωσιακή–Συμπεριφοριστική Θεραπεία (CBT) ή τη Διαλεκτική Συμπεριφορική Θεραπεία (DBT), ενώ όπου ενδείκνυται αξιοποιούνται επίσης η Θεραπεία Αποδοχής και Δέσμευσης (ACT), η Θεραπεία Εστιασμένη στη Συμπόνια (CFT) και, για την επεξεργασία τραυματικών εμπειριών, η μέθοδος EMDR.

Η κλινική της εργασία έχει πλαισιωθεί από συστηματική εποπτεία στη Γνωσιακή–Συμπεριφοριστική Θεραπεία (CBT) και στη Διαλεκτική Συμπεριφορική Θεραπεία (DBT), καθώς και από διεπιστημονική κλινική εποπτεία στο πλαίσιο της εργασίας της στους Γιατρούς Χωρίς Σύνορα (MSF), με συστημική, διαπολιτισμική και ψυχαναλυτική κατεύθυνση.

Simultaneously, she has participated in numerous scientific seminars, continually investing in her professional development. Her interdisciplinary training allows her to approach mental health and addiction issues holistically, combining legal, social, and therapeutic perspectives. Her passion and genuine interest in the field of addictions have led her to ongoing education, research activities, and publications in scientific journals. She has worked and volunteered in organizations supporting vulnerable social groups and in addiction rehabilitation centers, gaining valuable clinical experience. In recent years, she has worked in the academic environment of a private higher education college as the Head of Psychology Studies, teaching Clinical and Social Psychology courses, integrating theoretical knowledge with practical experience, and imparting to her students a passion for the science of Psychology.
