Dr. Tsoutsanis Athanasios holds a PhD from the University of Athens and is the Director of the 6th Orthopedic Clinic at HYGEIA Hospital. He maintains a private practice at HYGEIA Hospital as well as in Kifisia (opposite KAT Hospital). His initial postgraduate training was completed at the University Orthopedic Clinic of the renowned Rizzoli Hospital in Bologna, Italy, specializing in arthroplasty surgery. Subsequently, he trained in Paris in the innovative minimally invasive AMIS technique for hip arthroplasty and is a certified instructor of this technique. After performing thousands of hip arthroplasty surgeries, he was designated as one of the official reference centers in Europe for training orthopedic surgeons in the AMIS technique. He performed the first live surgery using the AMIS technique in Greece as part of an educational seminar on hip arthroplasty.

He specialized in knee arthroplasty using the minimally invasive MIK technique.

He trained in the United Kingdom and Luxembourg and is a certified user of the MAKO and NAVIO robotic systems for total knee arthroplasty.

Mr. Siopis Xristos is an Orthopedic Surgeon with private practices in Thessaloniki (28 Agias Sofias, 2nd Floor) and Veria (32 El. Venizelou, 3rd Floor). He is a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Thessaly. Since 2021, he has been a Collaborating Surgeon at the A’ Orthopedic Clinic of the Interbalkan Medical Center of Thessaloniki and a direct collaborator of Dr. Stylianos Kapetanakis in the Spine & Deformities Department. Simultaneously, he serves as a Collaborating Physician at the Athens Medical Center in Marousi and Psychiko. He specializes in knee and hip arthroplasties with customized implants, spinal surgery, knee and shoulder arthroscopies, as well as pediatric orthopedics. In his private practices, he provides a wide range of services tailored to the individual needs of each patient, always with respect to the patient himself.

Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Alkiviadis Kallivokas, BSc, MD, PhD, specializes in modern arthroscopic and arthroplasty surgery of the hip, knee, and shoulder, utilizing minimally invasive techniques (AMIS and MIS) and robot-assisted surgery, with the aim of rapid recovery, reduction of postoperative pain, and immediate return of patients to their daily activities. He holds degrees in Medicine and Biology from the University of Athens and a PhD in Orthopedics from the University of Patras, with significant scientific activity and publications in international scientific journals. He has been trained and worked at leading hospitals in Greece and the United Kingdom and has served as Director of Orthopedics and Traumatology at Homerton University Hospital in London. He possesses extensive experience in the management of diseases and injuries of major joints, including arthroscopies of the hip, knee, and shoulder, arthroplasty procedures, sports injuries, and orthopedic trauma. He collaborates with the Athens Medical Center (Neo Psychiko) and the Evgenidio Hospital, providing personalized therapeutic solutions focused on the needs of each patient. His medical approach is based on accurate diagnosis, comprehensive patient education, and the establishment of a trust-based relationship with the patient.

Deligeorgis Anastasios MD, MSc, Orthopaedic Surgeon - Sports Medicine Specialist, is Associate Director of the 3 rd Department of Orthopaedics, HYGEIA Private Hospital (Athens) and Scientific - Clinical Associate to the Centre of Shoulder Arthroscopy and Surgery (Athens). He treats the entire spectrum of orthopaedic diseases and sports injuries and holds a MSc in Sports Medicine (International Olympic Committee’s Diploma in Sports Medicine). Primary areas of specialization: advanced arthroscopy; minimally invasive techniques-MIS combined with fast- track protocols; robot-assisted arthroplasty using the MAKO Robotic-Arm Assisted Technology or navigators or digital systems; and biological therapies (platelet-rich plasma-PRP, stem cells). He received postgraduate training and worked in leading medical centres, both in Greece and abroad and next to pioneers in the field. Dr. Deligeorgis runs two offices—one in Ampelokipoi and one in Maroussi. Also, he is a highly educated native speaker of English.
