Αποτελεί μέλος της Ελληνικής και Ευρωπαϊκής Ψυχιατρικής και Ψυχαναλυτικής Εταιρείας. Κλινικά ασχολείται με τη διάγνωση και τη θεραπεία μείζονων και ελάσσονων διαταραχών ψυχικής υγείας με ψυχοθεραπευτική, φαρμακευτική ή μικτή αντιμετώπιση. Εξειδικεύεται σε διαταραχές που σχετίζονται με το άγχος, το "τραύμα", το γενικευμένο άγχος, την κατάθλιψη, την ιδεοψυχαναγκαστική διαταραχή, τη διπολική συναισθηματική ασθένεια και την ψύχωση. Για εκείνη ιδιαίτερο ενδιαφέρον παρουσιάζουν τα συμπτώματα που σχετίζονται με το άγχος και τα ψυχοσωματικά νοσήματα όπως το σύνδρομο χρόνιας κόπωσης και η ινομυαλγία. Η αντιμετώπισή της συνδυάζει φαρμακολογικές θεραπείες και ψυχολογικές παρεμβάσεις με την εφαρμογή ενός πολυεπιστημονικού μοντέλου. Στην αρχική της εκτίμηση επιδιώκει μέσα από το ιατρικό ιστορικό και τη συλλογή πληροφοριών να αξιολογήσει κλινικά τα γεγονότα που επηρεάζουν και σχετίζονται με την ψυχική και σωματική υγεία του ασθενή.
