Dr. Maria-Irini Kourakou is a practicing ophthalmologist based in Cholargos, Athens. She graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (2004–2010), and later completed a Master’s Degree in Medical Imaging in Ophthalmology at the Democritus University of Thrace (2018–2023).She began her professional career with a clinical residency at Hospital Bellvitge in Barcelona, Spain (2012–2013), gaining valuable experience in a high-level international medical environment. Dr. Eleni Messini, MD, PhD, is a Ophthalmic Surgeon who maintains a private practice in Ilisia. She studied at the Medical School of the University of Athens, from which she graduated with honors. She specialized in Ophthalmology at the Athens Eye Hospital. She holds a PhD from the Medical School of the University of Athens.
