Μετά την εξέταση στο ιατρείο, ο ασθενής βλέπει θολά για περίπου 3 ώρες λόγω ενστάλαξης μυδριατικών κολλυρίων και συστήνεται η αποφυγή της οδήγησης. Οι μέθοδοι θεραπείας που χρησιμοποιούνται οι ενδοϋαλοειδικές εγχύσεις και το θεραπευτικό Laser. Ο τεχνολογικός εξοπλισμός που χρησιμοποιείται είναι OCT, OCT αγγειογραφία και Argon Laser. Μετά τη θεραπεία ο ασθενής βλέπει θολά και νιώθει ενοχλήσει στον οφθαλμό τις πρώτες 24 ώρες και γι αυτό απαιτείται ενστάλαξη κολλυρίων για 5 ημέρες.
