Previously, he served as a Second Registrar in the National Health System (ESY) and currently collaborates with the Metropolitan General Hospital, where he is the Scientific Director of the ENT department. He has over 30 years of clinical experience as a specialist ENT physician and has successfully performed numerous surgical procedures across the full spectrum of otolaryngology. Additionally, he has contributed papers to National and International ENT conferences and has attended most of the advanced training seminars related to his specialty.

Gkortsali Athanasia is an Otolaryngologist with a private practice in Kolonaki. She is a graduate of the Medical School of Democritus University of Thrace. She specialized in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at the ENT Clinic of the Naval Hospital of Athens, where she was trained in a large number of cases and surgical procedures. She further specialized in pediatric ENT at the General Children's Hospital of Athens "Agia Sofia." She has participated in specialized training concerning the management of nasal diseases (FESS - Endoscopic Sinus Surgery) and surgical ear conditions. She has particular expertise in tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy (ear tubes), rhinoplasty and nasal septum surgery (septoplasty), as well as endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS). In her private practice, she manages otolaryngological cases in both children and adults, performing comprehensive endoscopic and audiological evaluations. Finally, she has participated as a speaker and attendee in numerous seminars and conferences in her specialty and serves as an external collaborating surgeon at the ENT Clinic of Athens and at IASO Children’s Hospital.
