George Karampelias is a medical doctor specialized in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT). His professional journey began in 2015 when he served as a Military Doctor in Greece. In 2018, he presented his work at the 10th International Congress of Internal Medicine in Athens and at ESPO2018 in Sweden. His contributions included studies on the morphological changes of the nasal mucosa in children with generalized nasal polyposis, sinonasal findings in granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA), malignant external otitis in pediatric and adult patients, and the relationship between type 1 diabetes mellitus and hearing loss in children. He also presented rare clinical cases, such as unilateral keratosis obturans in a 12-year-old boy and hearing manifestations in Wolfram syndrome.In the same year, he participated in the 24th ENT Educational Conference with presentations on the training of ENT residents and the use of hyperbaric oxygen therapy for sudden sensorineural hearing loss. In 2019, he presented a large cystic lesion of the maxilla involving eight teeth at the 19th Seminar of the Hellenic Rhinologic Society.
