Regarding his professional experience, he has many years of teaching experience in adult education, serves as an external lecturer at the Medical University of Berlin, and is a scientific collaborator of the Master's Program "Global Health – Disaster Medicine" at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Recently, he was appointed lead instructor of the "Migration and Health" module in the Master's Program "Public Health and Health Policy" at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Dr. Nikolaos Kostakis is a General Practitioner with extensive professional experience in both Greece and abroad. He began his medical career in 2008 as a rural doctor at the Health Center of Siteia. From 2009 to 2010, he worked as a private physician at the "Cretan Medi Help" Medical Center in Heraklion, and in 2010, he continued his private practice at the "Asklipieion of Crete" private clinic.
