Dr. Giannakos Athanasios-Rene S. is specialized in arthroscopic surgery of sports-related knee and shoulder injuries, as well as in M.I.S. Fast Track total knee and hip arthroplasty. During the first year of the specialty, he trained at the University Hospital Chieti, Italy, in the Sports Medicine Department under the direction of Professor Leonardo Vecchiet. There are articles, lectures, and surgeries by him available online. He collaborates with "Athens Medical Center," "Mitera" Hospital, and Mediterraneo Hospital, and is a scientific collaborator. Stathellis Apostolos MD, PhD is an Orthopedic Surgeon - Sports Medicine Specialist with expertise in arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, knee, elbow, and ankle, as well as sports injuries. He graduated with honors from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and holds a PhD from the University of Ulm in Germany. Following an 8-year training period in Germany (2009 - 2016) at one of the leading arthroscopic surgery centers (Sportklinik - Stuttgart), he now maintains private practices in Vrilissia and Marousi and concurrently serves as an Attending Physician at the 3rd Orthopedic Clinic at Hygeia Hospital. Kyriakou" General Children's Hospital of Athens.
