Additionally, he has completed the postgraduate program "Metabolic Bone Diseases" at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, enhancing his scientific background in the pathophysiology and management of diseases affecting bone health. His specialization at the Microsurgery Clinic of KAT Hospital enabled him to apply advanced reconstructive microsurgical techniques of the upper limb and hand, providing personalized solutions for complex injuries and disorders. Since 2018, he has served as an Assistant Orthopedic Surgeon – Consultant B’ at Elefsina General Hospital “Thriasio,” actively participating in the clinical and surgical work of the Orthopedic Clinic. He has participated in numerous seminars, conferences, and presented free communications.

Mixailidou - Xristopoulou Melia is an Orthopedic Surgeon and maintains a private practice in Kalamata. She graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with a grade of "very good." In 2004, she began her specialty in General Surgery at the 1st Surgical Department of the General Hospital of Serres, which she completed in 2005, and continued as an Orthopedic resident at the General Hospital of Serres. She obtained her specialty title in Orthopedics at the University Hospital of Rio Patras and at the Karamanadaneio Children’s Hospital in 2012. During this period, she traveled to SLK Klinikum in Heilbronn, Germany, where she specialized in the Pediatric Orthopedic Clinic, particularly in neonatal ultrasound. She participated in a large number of conferences, presenting papers at several of them, as well as attended numerous seminars of the AO Foundation, whose official representative in Greece is the Orthopedic Clinic of the University Hospital of Rio. Finally, in 2014, she attended courses and received certification for the application of ultrasound in the musculoskeletal system with a specialization in neonatal ultrasound.
