Mixailidou - Xristopoulou Melia is an Orthopedic Surgeon and maintains a private practice in Kalamata. He currently maintains a position as an Orthopedic Surgeon in the Department of Orthopedics, Traumatology & Hand Surgery at the Kreisklinikum Siegen clinic, an academic center of the University of Marburg. Furthermore, he specialized in the Department of Orthopedics, Traumatology & Hand Surgery at Darmstadt Hospital (Kreisklinikum Darmstadt). Additionally, he worked at the certified orthopedic center and arthroplasty center, as well as in the spinal surgery department of the orthopedic clinic in Lorsch, Germany, where he specialized in minimally invasive knee and hip arthroplasty surgery and in targeted fluoroscopy-guided injection therapy with slow-release corticosteroids for the management of chronic pain in spinal disorders. Finally, he served for several years as a scientific collaborator at the University of Freiburg and has numerous publications in scientific journals and conferences.
