Εν συνεχεία εργάστηκε και ειδικεύτηκε στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Παίδων Αθηνών "Η Αγία Σοφία" στο τμήμα της Παιδοορθοπαιδικής όπου συμμετείχε σε πολυάριθμες παιδοορθοπαιδικές επεμβάσεις (τραυματολογία, αντιμετώπιση σκολίωσης, αντιμετώπιση συγγενών δυσπλασιών του μυοσκελετικού) καθώς και εκπαιδεύτηκε και στο υπερηχογράφημα ισχίου νεογνών για τη διάγνωση συγγενούς δυσπλασίας του ισχίου όπου και έλαβε την διεθνή πιστοποίηση απ΄τον παγκοσμίου φήμης καθηγητή Reinhard Graf, αντιμετωπίζοντας παράλληλα πολλαπλά επείγοντα και τακτικά περιστατικά. Απέκτησε εμπειρία στην διάγνωση και αντιμετώπιση παραμορφώσεων σπονδυλικής στήλης (σκολίωση, κύφωση, λόρδωση) καθώς και στις διαταραχές βάδισης και παραμορφώσεις άκρων ποδών. Έπειτα συνέχισε την ειδίκευσή του στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Ασκληπιείο Βούλας, όπου ασχολήθηκε με όλο το φάσμα των ορθοπαιδικών παθήσεων ενηλίκων, λαμβάνοντας μέρος σε πολυάριθμες χειρουργικές επεμβάσεις όπως επεμβάσεις τραυματολογίας, επανορθωτικής χειρουργικής αρθρώσεων(ολικές αρθροπλαστικές), αρθροσκοπήσεις, χειρουργικής άνω άκρου, χειρουργικής σπονδυλικής στήλης, επεμβάσεις μικροχειρουργικής, χειρουργική άκρου ποδός, επείγουσα αντιμετώπιση ορθοπαιδικού τραύματος κ.α. Συνέχισε την ειδίκευσή του στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Ατυχημάτων Κ.Α.Τ. Αθηνών στο Τμήμα Χειρουργικής Άνω Άκρου - Μικροχειρουργικής Άκρας Χειρός αντιμετωπίζοντας όλο το εύρος της τραυματολογίας του άνω άκρου καθώς και χρονίων παθήσεων του χεριού, λαμβάνοντας μέρος σε μεγάλο αριθμό επεμβάσεων μικροχειρουργικής άκρας χειρός, αρθροσκοπικής αποκατάστασης παθήσεων του ώμου(αρθροσκοπήσεις ώμου), χειρουργικής αποκατάστασης χρόνιων παθήσεων του άνω άκρου και αντιμετώπισης όλων των επειγόντων και τακτικών περιστατικών των παθήσεων του άνω άκρου συμμετέχοντας παράλληλα στην τρίμηνη πρακτική άσκηση της μικροχειρουργικής στο Εργαστήριο Έρευνας Μυοσκελετικών Παθήσεων του Γ.Ν.Α. He currently collaborates with hospitals in Sweden. He has a private practice and serves as an Orthopedic Surgeon at Athinaiki Clinic Hospital and the Therapis Private Hospital in Pagrati. He is a member of medical associations in Greece and Sweden, and as part of his lifelong education, he has attended numerous seminars both in Greece and internationally. He employs a contemporary diagnostic approach assisted by musculoskeletal ultrasound. Panagiotis Drakopoulos is an Orthopedic Surgeon specialized in reconstructive microsurgery of the upper limb - hand and in osteoarthritis of the knee, hip, and sports medicine. He maintains a private practice in Piraeus. He has extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal system disorders, as well as in the rehabilitation of injuries using advanced microsurgical techniques. He graduated from the Medical School of Ovidius University of Constanta and continued his training at the 1st Orthopedic – Pediatric Orthopedic Clinic of the General Children's Hospital "Agia Sofia," as well as at the 2nd Adult Orthopedic Clinic of the General Hospital "Asklipieio Voula," where he completed his specialty in Orthopedics and Traumatology. Additionally, he has completed the postgraduate program "Metabolic Bone Diseases" at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, enhancing his scientific background in the pathophysiology and management of diseases affecting bone health. His specialization at the Microsurgery Clinic of KAT Hospital enabled him to apply advanced reconstructive microsurgical techniques of the upper limb and hand, providing personalized solutions for complex injuries and disorders. Since 2018, he has served as an Assistant Orthopedic Surgeon – Consultant B’ at Elefsina General Hospital “Thriasio,” actively participating in the clinical and surgical work of the Orthopedic Clinic. He has participated in numerous seminars, conferences, and presented free communications.
