Αποφοίτησε από την Ιατρική Σχολή του ΑΠΘ το 1995 και ειδικεύτηκε στην Αιματολογία στο Νοσοκομείο ΠΑΓΝΗ του Ηρακλείου Κρήτης. Μετεκπαιδεύτηκε στην Αμερική τόσο σε ερευνητικό πρόγραμμα στο Ίδρυμα M.O.R.I. του Πανεπιστημίου TUFTS της Βοστώνης, όσο και στην Αιματολογική Ογκολογία στο Νοσοκομείο MD Anderson, Houston.

Εργάστηκε ως επιστημονική συνεργάτης στο Νοσοκομείο Παπαγεωργίου Θεσσαλονίκης το 2004-2005 και από το 2006 έως το 2019 ως Επιμελήτρια ΕΣΥ στην Πανεπιστημιακή Αιματολογική Κλινική του Νοσοκομείου Αλεξανδρούπολης. Έχει πλούσιο συγγραφικό και εκπαιδευτικό έργο.
