Ms. Kitsou Xristina is a Vascular Surgeon - Endocrine Surgeon and maintains her practice in Kolonaki. Venous surgery for lower limb venous insufficiency concerns varicose veins and can be treated conservatively (sclerotherapy injections, Foam, and non-invasive Laser) as well as surgically (Laser, RF). The common feature of all conservative methods is that the patient continues their normal activities while undergoing treatment, whereas surgical methods require the patient to refrain from work for 1 to 2 days and typically involve a 24-hour hospital stay. Endocrine surgery concerns the thyroid and parathyroid glands. Surgical intervention is performed only upon indications set by the Endocrinologist and with the consent of the Surgeon. He also completed advanced training at the Vascular Surgery Clinic of Heinrich – Heinle University in Düsseldorf, Germany. He has been a scientific associate at the Vascular Surgery Clinic of the University of Athens, the University General Hospital Attikon, as well as a collaborator and surgeon at private hospitals. During his specialty training, he worked at the Onassis Cardiac Surgery Center, Evangelismos Hospital, Konstantopouleio General Hospital of N. Ionia “Agia Olga,” and the University General Hospital of Alexandroupolis. Additionally, he teaches at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens as part of the course ‘Vascular Surgery,’ has participated as a speaker in conferences and workshops, and has numerous presentations at international conferences and publications in internationally recognized journals. He is a member of the Hellenic Professional Association of Vascular Surgeons and a board member of the Angiology Society, the Hellenic Vascular Surgery Society, and the Union of EOPYY Physicians (ENI-EOPYY), serving as the General Secretary. Dr Artemis Pinakoulaki - Derma Laser Clinic is a Dermatologist - Venereologist who maintains a private practice in Piraeus. She graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and obtained her specialty in Dermatology - Venereology at the Athens Hospital for Skin and Venereal Diseases "Andreas Syggros." She worked in the acne department of the Leeds Foundation for Research in Leeds, United Kingdom, where she specialized in acne study and treatment techniques. She has participated in hundreds of pan-European and global conferences and keeps up to date with developments in her specialty.
