He is a graduate of Military Medicine (SSAS), which trains Medical Officers of the Armed Forces who simultaneously attend the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. This dual qualification was achieved with considerable effort, while his continuous education and many years of experience, both at the Naval Hospital of Athens and other units of the Navy, as well as in the private sector, have entrusted him with duties and responsibilities requiring expert knowledge of modern medical technology and decisiveness in daily patient care. His pursuit of advancement in medical science and technology was fulfilled through his postgraduate training in Endovascular Vascular Surgery and Vascular Triplex at Imelda Hospital in Bonheiden, Belgium (2005).
