O Μάραντος Θεόδωρος MSc, PhD είναι Παθολόγος - Λοιμωξιολόγος, Επιμελητής της Γ’ Παθολογικής Κλινικής του Metropolitan General και παράλληλα διατηρεί το ιδιωτικό του ιατρείο στο Νέο Κόσμο. Είναι κάτοχος Μεταπτυχιακού Τίτλου Σπουδών στη Λοιμωξιολογία της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου (Άριστα), καθώς και απόφοιτος του Σχολείου Ηπατολογίας της Ελληνικής Εταιρείας Μελέτης Ήπατος. Είναι συγγραφέας σε πολλά επιστημονικά άρθρα σε έγκυρα επιστημονικά περιοδικά του εξωτερικού. Έχει συμμετάσχει ως προσκεκλημένος ομιλητής σε ελληνικά συνέδρια και έχει λάβει μέρος στη συγγραφική ομάδα σε πολλές ανακοινώσεις σε διεθνή και ελληνικά συνέδρια. Έχει λάβει μέρος σε κλινικές μελέτες με αντικείμενο τις Λοιμώξεις και έχει συμμετάσχει στο εκπαιδευτικό έργο προπτυχιακών φοιτητών της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών.
