Είναι κάτοχος Μεταπτυχιακού Τίτλου Σπουδών στη Λοιμωξιολογία της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου (Άριστα), καθώς και απόφοιτος του Σχολείου Ηπατολογίας της Ελληνικής Εταιρείας Μελέτης Ήπατος. Είναι συγγραφέας σε πολλά επιστημονικά άρθρα σε έγκυρα επιστημονικά περιοδικά του εξωτερικού. Έχει συμμετάσχει ως προσκεκλημένος ομιλητής σε ελληνικά συνέδρια και έχει λάβει μέρος στη συγγραφική ομάδα σε πολλές ανακοινώσεις σε διεθνή και ελληνικά συνέδρια. Έχει λάβει μέρος σε κλινικές μελέτες με αντικείμενο τις Λοιμώξεις και έχει συμμετάσχει στο εκπαιδευτικό έργο προπτυχιακών φοιτητών της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών. Έχει ιδιαίτερο κλινικό ενδιαφέρον σε όλο το φάσμα της Εσωτερικής Παθολογίας, αλλά και της Λοιμωξιολογίας, παρέχοντας ιατρικές υπηρεσίες υψηλής ποιότητας με σεβασμό στους ασθενείς του.
