Urologists - Andrologists for Prostate examination in Attica

Christos Pournaras was born and raised in Athens, where he completed his studies at the Medical School of the University of Athens in 2006. He subsequently engaged in primary research at the laboratory of the University Urology Clinic of Munich (TUM), where he also obtained his dissertation. He then specialized in Urology at the 1st University Urology Clinic of the University of Athens at LAIKO hospital. During his tenure at the aforementioned clinic, he participated as a researcher in international clinical studies. He completed the Greek and European specialty examinations in 2015. In 2016, he moved to the United Kingdom for further training in Endourology. Since 2019, he has been working with the team of the Andrology Center of Crete, where his areas of expertise, in addition to general urology and endourology, include andrology. From 2021 to 2022, he served as a urology consultant at the 7th Urology Clinic of Metropolitan General in Athens. Since 2022, he has been collaborating with the Modern Urology team based at Lefkos Stavros and maintains a private practice in Nea Makri, Attica. Since 2024, he holds the position of urology consultant at the “Ygeias Melathron” hospital.

Ο ιατρός Σταματάκος Παναγιώτης - Βελισσάριος είναι εξειδικευμένος στην Ουρολογία, με στόχο την παροχή ολοκληρωμένης και εξατομικευμένης φροντίδας σε κάθε ασθενή.

Είναι απόφοιτος της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών και έχει πραγματοποιήσει την εκπαίδευσή του σε αναγνωρισμένα Nοσοκομεία της Αθήνας. Συγκεκριμένα, ολοκλήρωσε ένα έτος εκπαίδευσης στη Γενική Χειρουργική στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Πειραιά "Τζάνειο", αποκτώντας σημαντική κλινική εμπειρία, και στη συνέχεια ειδικεύτηκε στην Ουρολογία για τέσσερα έτη στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Αθηνών "Γ. Γεννηματάς", όπου απέκτησε σημαντική εμπειρία στην αντιμετώπιση ουρολογικών παθήσεων.

Σήμερα εργάζεται ως Επικουρικός Επιμελητής Β’ στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο "Κοργιαλένειο - Μπενάκειο Νοσοκομείο Ε.Ε.Σ.", όπου συμμετέχει ενεργά στην αντιμετώπιση τόσο απλών, οσο και σύνθετων ουρολογικών περιστατικών, ενώ παράλληλα διατηρεί ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στον Πειραιά, προσφέροντας ολοκληρωμένες υπηρεσίες υγείας.

Έχει ολοκληρώσει το πρόγραμμα μεταπτυχιακών σπουδών της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλίας με τίτλο "Χειρουργική Κάτω Κοιλίας, Ελάσσονος Πυέλου και Περινέου". Κατά την διάρκεια του προγράμματος εκπόνησε διπλωματική εργασία με τίτλο "Θεραπεία της κυστεοκήλης με τοποθέτηση πλέγματος". Επιπλέον, είναι υποψήφιος Διδάκτωρ της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών. Θέμα της διατριβής αποτελεί η "Ταυτοποίηση και συγκριτική μελέτη του μικροβιώματος των ούρων με τον ουροθηλιακό καρκίνο της ουροδόχου κύστης".

Αποτελεί μέλος του Ιατρικού Συλλόγου Αθηνών, της Ελληνικής Ουρολογικής Εταιρείας, καθώς και της Ευρωπαϊκής Ουρολογικής Εταιρείας.

Ενεργός στα επιστημονικά δρώμενα έχει λάβει μέρος ως ομιλητής σε ουρολογικά συνέδρια και επιστημονικές ημερίδες. Έχει συμμετάσχει ως συγγραφέας σε πολλαπλές επιστημονικές δημοσιεύσεις.

Ως Χειρουργός Ουρολόγος, διαθέτει εμπειρία τόσο στη συντηρητική, όσο και στη χειρουργική αντιμετώπιση ουρολογικών παθήσεων. Ksanthis Stylianos MSc, FEBU is a Urologist - Andrologist with a private practice in Marousi. Rompolis Dimitrios is a Urologist - Andrologist with a private practice in Nikaia. He is a graduate and PhD candidate of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He began his specialty training in Urology at the General Hospital of Corinth and completed it at the General Hospital of Athens "Hippocratio." Additionally, he worked at the General Hospital of Chios "Skylitseio," completing one year in the specialty of General Surgery. Lepidas Dimitrios MD, FEBU is a Urologist - Andrologist and maintains a private practice in Piraeus. He holds a PhD from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He specialized for one year in general surgery, simultaneously completing his urology specialization at the General Hospital of Piraeus "Tzaneio," and during his specialization, he trained in pediatric urology and gynecology. Από το 1993 υπηρετεί στην Πολεμική Αεροπορία αρχικά ως γιατρός σε στρατιωτικές μονάδες αποφοιτώντας παράλληλα από το Σχολείο Αεροπορικής Ιατρικής της Πολεμικής Αεροπορίας και από το Σχολείο Αεροπορικής και Αεροδιαστημικής Ιατρικής των ΗΠΑ ( Primary Aerospace Medicine Diploma, School of Aviation Medicine), στο San Antonio Texas. 

Εργάζεται από το 2004 στο 251ΓΝΑ ως Επιμελητής Ουρολογικής κλινικής και από το 2026 κατέχει τη θέση του Διευθυντή της κλινικής.

Είναι μέλος πολλών ελληνικών και διεθνών επιστημονικών εταιρειών, μεταξύ των οποίων η Ελληνική Ουρολογική Εταιρεία , η Νευροουρολογικη Εταιρεία, η European Association of Urology , η Endourological Society και η Hellenic Aerospace Medicine Society.

Dr. Petros Georgouleas is a surgeon-urologist, graduate of the Medical School of Athens, trained and further educated in Sweden where he lived and worked from 2008 to 2022. Since 2016, he has served as Deputy Director of the Endourology and Lithiasis Treatment Department at the University Urology Clinic of Örebro, one of the largest and most distinguished urology clinics in Sweden, renowned for its excellent operation and high level of urological care provided. This experience enabled the physician to acquire expertise in managing all urological diseases. He has specialized in the treatment of urinary system lithiasis, having performed a large number of surgeries, as well as in the most advanced methods of diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer (fusion transperineal prostate biopsy), where he held a training role within the Swedish healthcare system. Since the summer of 2022, he has been Deputy Director at the Athens Medical Center. Simultaneously, he works at his private practice in Neos Kosmos, attending to cases involving the diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of urinary system disorders in men and women, as well as disorders of the male reproductive system.

Konomi Markella MD, FEBU is a Urologist - Andrologist and maintains a private practice in Ilioupoli. Sfetsas Konstantinos is a Urologist - Andrologist with a private practice in Chalandri. Ο Καραναστάσης Δημήτριος,MD, MSc, FEBU, PhDr είναι Χειρουργός Ουρολόγος και Ανδρολόγος, με πολυετή εμπειρία και εξειδίκευση σε ένα ευρύ φάσμα ουρολογικών και ανδρολογικών παθήσεων. Σήμερα, κατέχει τη θέση του Διευθυντή της Ουρολογικής Κλινικής στο Ιατρικό Κέντρο Ψυχικού και είναι ενεργό μέλος της Ελληνικής Ουρολογικής Εταιρίας καθώς και της Ευρωπαϊκής Εταιρίας Σεξουαλικής Ιατρικής (ESSM).

Kolaggis Aleksandros is a Urologist - Andrologist with a private practice in Athens. He holds a medical degree from the Universita degli studi di Bari "Aldo Moro" in Italy and specialized in General Surgery at the First Surgical Clinic of the 417 Military Fund Nursing Institution (NIMTS) and in Urology at the Urological Clinic of the General Hospital of Melissia "Amalia Fleming." Additionally, he completed a postgraduate program in Health Unit Management at the Hellenic Open University and underwent further training in Urological Ultrasound at the General State Hospital of Nikaia - Piraeus "Agios Panteleimon." Galanakis Ioannis is a Surgeon Urologist - Andrologist and holds a PhD from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, with private practices in Ampelokipoi and Nikaia. He completed his basic medical studies at the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. As a military doctor, he also graduated from the Military School of Corps Officers and continued his service in the Navy. He began his specialization in Urology at the Naval Hospitals of Crete and Athens and completed it at the General Hospital of Athens "G. Gennimatas". He became a member, after pan-European examinations, of the European Board of Urology (Fellow of the European Board of Urology, FEBU) and subsequently underwent further training for two years in Italy (San Bassiano Hospital, Bassano del Grappa) and the United Kingdom (Freeman Hospital, Newcastle upon Tyne), covering the entire spectrum of modern management of urological diseases, with a focus on minimally invasive techniques (endourology - laparoscopic urology) as well as andrology. His literary and scientific work is extensive and includes publications in international and Greek journals (editorial member in several international journals), serving as a reviewer for scientific articles, numerous lectures, round tables, and presentations at international and Greek conferences. He holds the position of Director at the Urological Clinic of the Naval Hospital of Athens and is concurrently Director Urologist at the Psychiko Medical Center.
