Διατηρεί ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στην Βούλα. Η ακαδημαϊκή του πορεία ξεκίνησε από την Κτηνιατρική Σχολή του Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλίας (2008) και συνεχίστηκε στην Ιατρική Σχολή του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών (2013). Το έντονο ενδιαφέρον του για τον κερατοειδή, τις μεταμοσχεύσεις και τη διαθλαστική χειρουργική τον οδήγησε στο εθνικό σύστημα υγείας (NHS) του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου , όπου μετεκπαιδεύτηκε εντατικά. Κατείχε τις θέσεις του Cornea and anterior segment Fellow στο Πανεπιστημιακό Νοσοκομείο του Newcastle (Royal Victoria Hospital) και στο Πανεπιστημιακό Νοσοκομείο του Southampton.
