Αποφοίτησε από το Εθνικό και Καποδιστριακό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών και στη συνέχεια επέλεξε την ειδικότητα της Παθολογίας στην οποία ασκήθηκε ως ειδικευόμενη για ένα έτος. Η αντιμετώπιση του επείγοντος, κέρδιζε πάντα το ενδιαφέρον της, έτσι τελικά απέκτησε την ειδικότητα της Αναισθησιολογίας με εξειδίκευση στην αντιμετώπιση του οξέος και χρόνιου πόνου.
