Επιστρέφοντας στην Ελλάδα διετέλεσε Ακαδημαϊκός Υπότροφος της Ά Μαιευτικής Γυναικολογικής κλινικής ΕΚΠΑ στο νοσοκομείο "Αλεξάνδρα" στο Τμήμα Μαστού όπου έλαβε και την Εξειδίκευση της Χειρουργικής Μαστού. Έχει αποκτήσει, μετά από εξετάσεις, την Ευρωπαϊκή Πιστοποίηση στη Χειρουργική Μαστού - Fellow of the European Board of Surgery (FEBS),Qualification in Breast Surgery.

Κατά τη διάρκεια της θητείας του πραγματοποίησε πλήθος και ποικιλία Χειρουργείων Μαστού στο τμήμα μαστού του "Αλεξάνδρα" το οποίο αποτελεί αναγνωρισμένο κέντρο μαστού διεθνώς αφού ανήκει στο δίκτυο Breast Centres Network. Επιπλέον διαθέτει ISO 9001 : 2015.

Flessas Ioannis MD, PhD, MSc, FEBS, FACS is a Mastologist and Doctor of Medicine at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens Medical School, with private practices in Vrilissia and Ampelokipoi.
