He has an extensive research portfolio, with over 60 scientific publications in international journals, more than 3,500 citations, active participation in multicenter studies, and has been selected as a member of the 15-member Oncology Surgery Committee of the European Neurosurgical Society and as a trainer for brain tumor surgical techniques by the European Society of Neuro-Oncology. His clinic is the only neurosurgical clinic in Greece recognized as a Research and Treatment Institute for brain tumors by the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC).
