He serves as Secretary of the Sports Injuries Department of the Hellenic Society of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology and is a member of committees of both the European Society of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery & Arthroscopy (ESSKA) and the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine (ISAKOS). Furthermore, he is an active member of 14 Greek and international scientific associations, has published numerous scientific articles and communications in Greek and international journals, and has delivered lectures at Greek and international sports medicine conferences.
