Additionally, he completed postgraduate studies in thoracic oncology and received further training with a scholarship from the Hellenic Respiratory Society in diagnostic and interventional bronchoscopy, rigid bronchoscopy, and endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) (Thoraklinik am Universitatsklinikum Heidelberg). Through continuous attendance at conferences, he stays informed on diseases in which he has particular expertise, such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), bronchial asthma, lung cancer, sleep apnea, COPD and chronic cough, and he has numerous publications in Greek and international journals.
