Από το 1990 - 1992 εκπαιδεύτηκε επί διετία στον Βελονισμό - Ηλεκτροβελονισμό στο Acuscience (Διεθνές Μετεκπαιδευτικό Κέντρο Βελονισμού) από τον έμπειρο βελονιστή Μιλτιάδη Καράβη και την ομάδα του. Έκτος από τον βελονισμό, έχει λάβει βασική εκπαίδευση στην ομοιοπαθητική, NLP, TAT, REIKI, ρεφλεξολογία, μέθοδο Heart math κ.α. Έχει συμμετάσχει ως κύριος ερευνητής (Principal Investigator) σε κλινικές μελέτες (clinical trials) που αφορούσαν την ατοπική Δερματίτιδα και την Μαστοκυττάρωση.Ο Δημήτριος Χρήστου είναι μέλος πολλών επαγγελματικών ενώσεων, όπως η Ευρωπαϊκή Εταιρία Δερματολογίας- Αφροδισιολογίας (EADV), η Γερμανική Δερματολογική Εταιρεία (DDG), η Ελληνική Δερματολογική και Αφροδισιολογική Εταιρεία (ΕΔΑΕ), η Ελληνική Εταιρεία Δερματοχειρουργικής, Laser και Αισθητικής Δερματολογίας και η Δερματολογική και Αφροδισιολογική Εταιρία Κύπρου (ΔΑΕΚ).Με την ακαδημαϊκή του γνώση, την εξειδίκευση και την πολυετή εμπειρία του, ο Δρ. Χρήστου παρέχει ολοκληρωμένες και εξειδικευμένες υπηρεσίες υψηλής ποιότητας, καλύπτοντας ένα ευρύ φάσμα δερματολογικών και αλλεργιολογικών αναγκών. Μετά από 20 χρόνια σπουδών, φροντίδας ασθενών, διδασκαλίας και έρευνας στον τομέα της Δερματολογίας σε μερικά από τα μεγαλύτερα ακαδημαϊκά ιδρύματα και νοσοκομεία της Γερμανίας, αποφάσισε να προσφέρει τις υπηρεσίες του σε ένα διαφορετικό κοινό.
