Karydi Panagiota is a Pulmonologist - Tuberculosis Specialist, Director of the 4th Pulmonology Clinic at "Errikos Dynan" Hospital, while simultaneously maintaining a private practice in Cholargos since 2008. She holds a degree from the Medical School of the University of Patras and completed her specialization in Pulmonology at the University Pulmonology Clinic of the General Hospital for Thoracic Diseases of Athens "Sotiria". For many years, she worked as a Pulmonology Department Consultant at IASO General Clinic and, within her duties, was active in the Respiratory Function Testing Laboratory, the Smoking Cessation Clinic, and the Bronchology Laboratory, while also serving as the head of the clinic's Sleep Study Laboratory. In 2006, she assumed the directorship of the 2nd Pulmonology Clinic at IASO General, later "Metropolitan General," continuing her engagement with the full spectrum of pulmonology, as previously mentioned, until March 2022. From 2017 to 2022, she held the scientific responsibility of the Pulmonology Department at the "Metropolitan General" clinic. Dr. Karydi has participated in pharmaceutical research protocols and research teams and is a member of the European Respiratory Society. Additionally, she has participated as a speaker in the clinic’s educational program, at workshops, local and national conferences, and has delivered oral presentations at international conferences. Finally, she contributes to informative television programs on health topics and authors informative articles on issues related to her specialty in daily newspapers, magazines, and electronic media. Emphasizing personalized and individual care for each patient, always based on contemporary bibliographical data, her goal is to provide high-level services to all patients.
