Ολοκλήρωσε τη διδακτορική της διατριβή στο Εργαστήριο Λειτουργικού Ελέγχου της Α’ Πανεπιστημιακής Πνευμονολογικής Κλινικής του Νοσοκομείου Νοσημάτων Θώρακος Αθηνών "Σωτηρία" με βαθμό "Άριστα".

Ειδικεύθηκε στην Πνευμονολογία στην Α’ Πανεπιστημιακή Πνευμονολογική Κλινική του Νοσοκομείου "Σωτηρία", ενώ στο πλαίσιο της εκπαίδευσής της εργάστηκε για ένα έτος στην Παθολογική Κλινική του Γενικού Νοσοκομείου Αθηνών "Ευαγγελισμός" και εκπαιδεύτηκε στη Μονάδα Εντατικής Θεραπείας της ίδιας κλινικής. He is a Certified Physician by the Ministry of Health in the field of Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome Study. He maintains a private practice in the center of Patras. He graduated from the Medical School and holds a PhD from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens with distinction "Excellent". He has served as Visiting Assistant Professor at the Indiana University School of Medicine in the USA and Fellow at the Brompton and London Chest Hospital in London.
