He was appointed Maître de Conférences Agrégé des Universités à titre étranger. In March 1987, he was conferred the title of Professeur des Universités - Praticien Hospitalier à titre étranger. After his three-year stay in France, he worked for various periods at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London and at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston. He returned from abroad in 1985 and was appointed Chief Ophthalmologist Grade A at the Athens Eye Hospital. From 1986, he worked at the University Hospital of Ioannina as an Assistant Professor and later Associate Professor until 1992. He gained particular expertise in Sjogren’s syndrome through collaboration with the Internal Medicine Clinic and Professor Ch. Moutsopoulos. He has authored three dissertations, over 50 foreign-language scientific publications, and more than 150 Greek publications. From 1992, he served as Director of the Ophthalmology Clinic at the Blue Cross for fifteen years. He currently performs surgery at the specialized Ophthalmology Clinic Hypapanti tou Christou.

Gerakidis Mixalis is an ophthalmic surgeon who maintains a private practice in the Syntagma area. He completed medical studies at Comenius University as well as optics-optometry at the University of West Attica. He specialized at the Athens Eye Hospital. He successfully participated in the European Ophthalmology Board examinations and obtained the title of Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology (FEBO). Since February 2024, he has been pursuing postgraduate studies entitled: "Management of Refractive Errors and Refractive Surgery," which addresses the latest advances in laser myopia procedures. During his specialization, he gained clinical experience in numerous ophthalmic conditions such as refractive abnormalities, glaucoma, macular diseases, diabetic retinopathy, cataract, keratoconus, as well as surgical experience in cataract, keratoconus, and laser myopia procedures. In his career as an optician-optometrist, he encountered a wide range of keratoconus cases involving the application of specialized contact lenses aimed at improving vision and acquired experience in alleviating symptoms in patients suffering from refractive errors and diplopia. His practice is equipped with the most advanced ophthalmological equipment for the diagnosis and monitoring of all eye diseases.

Nikitopoulos Georgios is a Pediatric and Adult Ophthalmic Surgeon maintaining private practices in Patissia and Nea Penteli. He studied at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and obtained the Ophthalmology specialty title following successful examinations, having previously specialized at the "Agia Sofia" Children's Hospital and the General State Hospital of Athens-KOFKA. Since 1988, he has been a member of the Surgical Team led by the ophthalmology professor at Cornell University in New York, Mr. M. Tragakis, specializing in the Cornea and Corneal Transplantations. He is an Anterior Segment Surgeon with an emphasis on modern small-incision cataract surgery, glaucoma, strabismus, and specialization in Lasers (correction of myopia, hypermetropia, astigmatism, presbyopia with Amaris 750S, the most advanced laser device today and unique in Greece). He also deals with the diagnosis and treatment of retinal diseases (Diabetic Retinopathy, Macular Diseases, etc.). He serves as a scientific collaborator of the 1st Ophthalmology Clinic of "Errikos Dynan" Hospital, the "Ypapanti" Ophthalmology Clinic, the "OMMA" Ophthalmologic Institute, as well as the "Athena Refractive Center." Finally, he has published 26 scientific papers at national and international ophthalmological conferences and has participated in round tables, clinical workshops, and as an instructor in experimental surgeries for younger colleagues.
