Following a highly competitive UK national selection process, I completed my neurosurgical training through the East Midlands Rotation in the United Kingdom. I have served as a neurosurgical trainee in leading institutions, including the Queen’s Medical Centre (Nottingham), the Western General Hospital (Edinburgh), the Leeds General Infirmary (Leeds), and the Beaumont Hospital (Dublin). I hold dual Certificates of Completion of Training (CCT) in Neurosurgery, recognised in both the United Kingdom and Greece. I am a Fellow, by examination, of the European Board of Neurosurgical Societies (FEBNS) and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in Neurosurgery (FRCSEd SN). My neurosurgical training has been further enhanced by recognised subspecialty fellowship programmes: Complex Spinal Fellowship at the Leeds General Infirmary, Leeds, United Kingdom (14 months). Complex Spinal Fellowship at the Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham, United Kingdom (12 months). National Fellowship in Neurosurgical Oncology at the Leeds General Infirmary, Leeds, United Kingdom (9 months). Spinal Neurosurgery Fellowship under the supervision of Professor Ciaran Bolger, Professor of Neurosurgery, at the Beaumont Hospital, Dublin, Ireland (14 months). I have served as a Consultant Neurosurgeon at the Royal Sussex County Hospital, where I hold an honorary contract, as well as at Stepping Hill Hospital, Manchester, United Kingdom.
