Mpogdani Eleutheria

Eleutheria Mpogdani is a Special Educator and Psychotherapist specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Clinical Hypnotherapy, a graduate of the Department of Philology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and an Author. She attended the postgraduate specialization program in "Special Education" at the University of Athens while simultaneously obtaining a Level B diploma as an Infant Caregiver for typical and special infants/toddlers, certified by EOPPEP. She has participated in numerous seminars and trainings (educational intervention in TEACCH: “Basic principles and methods of structured teaching for individuals on the Autism spectrum,” training in writing Social Stories, evaluation and rehabilitation of Specific Learning Disabilities, training in sexual education for individuals with disabilities, among others). She has worked in early intervention in kindergartens as well as in the child protection and early intervention program of the "Paidopoli - Agios Andreas" foundation. For the past eight years, she has been working at a Day Care Center for Individuals with Special Needs in the Southern Suburbs. For many years, she worked with typical middle and high school students within Primary and Secondary Education, concurrently conducting assessments and rehabilitation for students with learning difficulties. Additionally, she is the author of the book “Illustrated Social Stories” for Individuals with Communication Difficulties on the Autism Spectrum. She has been trained in Applied Counseling for Children/Adolescents/Parents/Adults at the University of Ioannina as well as at the “Prevention and Counseling” Center.
