Λαμβάνει πλήρες ιστορικό, όχι εγκυκλοπαιδικά, αλλά ουσιαστικά. Η εξέταση διήρκησε αρκετή ώρα, ώστε να καλυφθούν όσα η γιατρός θεωρεί απαραίτητα. Δεν τρομάζει τον ασθενή, την συστήνω.

Θέλω να εκφράσω την απέραντη ευγνωμοσύνη μου στην κυρία Γκολφίνου για την εξαιρετική επιστημονική της κατάρτιση και, πάνω απ' όλα, για την ανθρωπιά της. Η βοήθειά της στον σύζυγό μου, ο οποίος αντιμετωπίζει τον σακχαρώδη διαβήτη, ήταν και είναι πραγματικά απεριόριστη. Παράλληλα, δείχνει το ίδιο τεράστιο ενδιαφέρον και για μένα ως ασθενή της. Είναι η μόνη ενδοκρινολόγος που εξετάζει εξονυχιστικά και παίρνει ένα πλήρες, αναλυτικό ιστορικό, την ίδια ώρα που άλλοι γιατροί απλά περιορίζονται στο να γράφουν μηχανικά κάποιες εξετάσεις. Από την πρώτη στιγμή μάς αγκάλιασε και τους δύο με απίστευτο ενδιαφέρον, καθοδηγώντας μας με υπομονή, απόλυτη εξειδίκευση και σιγουριά. Χάρη στη σωστή της προσέγγιση και τη συνεχή της υποστήριξη, η υγεία μας βρίσκεται στα καλύτερα χέρια. Είναι μια επιστήμονας που ξεχωρίζει για τον επαγγελματισμό, την ευγένεια και το βαθύ, ειλικρινές ενδιαφέρον που δείχνει για τον άνθρωπο. Την προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα σε όλους.
