Mpakogiannis Hristos

Mpakogiannis Xristos is a Vascular Surgeon - Angiologist, serving as Professor of Vascular Surgery at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in the University Vascular Surgery Clinic of the General Hospital of Athens "Laiko" and maintains a private practice in Argyroupoli. He graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and specialized in Vascular Surgery at the First Surgical Clinic of the University of Athens, where he also completed his doctoral dissertation. Following his further training in Germany in specialized areas of vascular surgery such as Endoscopic Vascular Surgery, Endovascular Surgery, and Surgery of Thoracoabdominal Aneurysms and Visceral Vessels, he served as an Assistant Faculty Member at the First Surgical Clinic of the University of Athens. Additionally, he served as Lecturer, then as Assistant Professor of Vascular Surgery, and subsequently as Associate Professor, a position he holds to date. Finally, it is noteworthy that he has received a scholarship from the European Society for Vascular Surgery and two awards for scientific papers, has participated as a speaker in 30 Greek and 1 international conference, and is a member of 4 Greek and 3 international scientific societies.
