She has been trained in hospitals in Greece and the United Kingdom and possesses extensive clinical experience in a wide range of endocrinological disorders, such as type 1 and 2 diabetes mellitus, gestational diabetes, obesity, thyroid diseases, osteoporosis, and endocrine disorders of pregnancy, polycystic ovary syndrome, menstrual disorders, diseases of the adrenal glands and pituitary, and endocrine hypertension. Her research and academic activities further include publications in international medical journals, participation in Greek and international conferences, as well as teaching experience at the Dietetics and Sport Science departments of Metropolitan and Mediterranean College. She is a member of the Hellenic Endocrinological Society, the General Medical Council (GMC) of the United Kingdom, and the Athens Medical Association. Fotiadis Gerasimos is a General Family Physician who maintains a private practice in the center of Thessaloniki. He graduated from the Medical School of Democritus University of Thrace and completed his residency in General Family Medicine at the General Hospital of Thessaloniki "Papageorgiou" and the General Hospital of Thessaloniki "Papanikolaou." He has completed more than 400 on-call shifts in Emergency Departments and has worked as a Rural Doctor in Health Centers, gaining valuable experience in managing both urgent and chronic cases. He holds a degree from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and specialized as a Specialist Pathologist at the General Hospital of Thessaloniki "Papageorgiou," where he also served as a member of the Hospital's Scientific Council for three years. Subsequently, he specialized in Diabetology and completed postgraduate studies in "Health Unit Management." He has served as a Scientific Associate of the 1st Pathology Clinic of the General Hospital of Thessaloniki "Papageorgiou," and worked as a Pathologist at the Health Unit "I.K.A. Koufalia" for seven years. Finally, the doctor is an active member of the Diabetes Society of Northern Greece and the Pan-European Diabetes Association.
