Moustardas Marios MD, MSc, PhD, FICA is a Vascular Surgeon - Angiologist, Director of the Vascular Surgery Department at the "Iasis" clinic in Chania, where he also sees patients in a private practice in Marousi. He holds a doctoral thesis in the Surgical Sector of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a medical degree from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Additionally, he received advanced training in endovascular surgery at the European Vascular Masterclass in Amsterdam and in the use of laser for the treatment of varicose veins. Throughout his career, he has worked at numerous hospitals in Greece as an Attending Physician, in some of which he has served as Deputy Director, equipping him with the appropriate knowledge and experience to handle all vascular surgical cases. In his clinics, he employs the endovascular method – placement of stent grafts – and is capable of performing angioplastic restorations with balloons or stent placement in both central and peripheral vessels. Finally, he has published articles in international surgical scientific journals and maintains a continuous presence at Greek and international conferences on Vascular and Endovascular Surgery.
