Pagiati Dora is a Psychologist - Psychotherapist with a private practice in Corfu. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology (BA) and a Master Degree (M.S Edu) in Counseling Psychology. She completed her studies at Hunter College, City University of New York. She has been working as a psychotherapist since 2009. As a therapist, she has professional experience in psychiatric disorders, emotional disorders (anxiety, depression, phobias, and trauma) in adults, adolescents, young adults, and children. She has worked in addiction treatment facilities in New York (Educational Alliance, Create Inc, Samaritan Daytop Village) and in Greece. From 2020 until May 2022, she worked as a psychologist at the Day Care Center (K.D.I.F.) Melissa in Corfu, while simultaneously practicing as a psychologist in her private office in Corfu. She is also undergoing training in Systemic Family Psychotherapy at the Department of Adolescent and Youth Psychiatry - General Hospital of Athens "G. Gennimatas." Additionally, she is training in “Bereavement Support and Counseling with children, adolescents, and grieving families” at Merimna (Society for the Care of Children and Families in Illness and Death). Furthermore, she has participated in numerous seminars based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (American Institute for Cognitive Therapy), Special Education (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens), and Trauma (New York Coalition of Behavioral Health Agencies).
