Ioanna Tzanaki is a Podiatrist and operates a podiatric center in Kallithea. She also serves as an external collaborator for the Diabetic Foot Department at the General Hospital of Athens "Laiko." She holds degrees in Podiatry and Podiatric Aesthetics from the IEK Glyfada and the DATA TYPE Educational Group Lifelong Learning Center 2. She was awarded a scholarship to attend a postgraduate training program in her field through ERASMUS+ at L'Acropolis, Ascoli Piceno, Italy. At her podiatric center, she manages cases across the full spectrum of podiatry, including plantar pressure analysis, orthopedic insoles or footwear, diabetic foot care, fabrication of silicone pads, onychocryptosis, onychomycosis, fungal nails, onychogryphosis, callus removal, hyperkeratosis, orthoplastics, and psoriasis. Ms. Tzanaki has participated in the non-profit campaign titled "Guided by Diabetes" and attends seminars related to diabetes. She has authored articles in the newspaper Palmos as well as in Kallithea Press, and an interview with her has been published in the magazine Ciao. Finally, she is a member of the Society for the Study of Diabetic Foot Diseases and the Hellenic Association of Chiropodists and Podiatrists.
