Dr. Sofia Genitsaridi is a pediatrician with a private practice based in Glyfada, Athens. She graduated from the School of Medicine of the University of Patras.

She completed part of her pediatric residency with a specialization in Neonatology at the University Neonatal Clinic of Aretaieio Hospital, where she received training in neonatal resuscitation, early neonatal care, and the establishment of breastfeeding immediately after birth.

She obtained her PhD from the School of Medicine at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, graduating with honors (“Excellent”). Her doctoral dissertation focused on the effectiveness of a personalized model of nutrition, physical activity, and psychological intervention for the prevention and management of childhood and adolescent obesity and overweight. The research was conducted at the Weight Management Center of the 1st University Pediatric Clinic of “Aghia Sophia” Children's Hospital.

Dr. Genitsaridi also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in General Pediatrics – Clinical Practice and Research, from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, which she completed with distinction.

She worked as a scientific associate at the University Pediatric Clinic in Mainz, Germany, gaining valuable international clinical experience. Upon returning to Greece, she completed her pediatric specialization at the 1st University Pediatric Clinic of “Aghia Sophia” Children's Hospital, where she was trained in diagnosing and managing a wide range of common and rare pediatric conditions. She successfully passed the national board certification exams in Pediatrics.

Currently, Dr. Genitsaridi works as a Scientific Associate at the Pediatric Obesity Center, part of the Endocrinology, Metabolism and Diabetes Unit of the 1st University Pediatric Clinic at “Aghia Sophia” Hospital, and serves as an Attending Pediatrician at the Athens Euroclinic for Children.

She has actively participated in numerous national and international pediatric congresses as both an attendee and invited speaker. Her academic portfolio includes multiple publications in peer-reviewed international medical journals. Dr. Genitsaridi is also certified in Neonatal Life Support (NLS) and has received extensive training in breastfeeding support through various specialized seminars.

Efthymiou Theodora, is a pediatrician and maintains a private practice located in Chalandri since 2006, while she is also collaborating with SOS DOCTORS as a fully active member. During her studies, she specialized in the department of pediatric cardiology, pediatric allergology and pediatric otolaryngology. Dr. Thanos Xristos is a Pediatrician, specialized in Germany in Infectious Diseases and in Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine. Since October 2022, he has maintained his private practice in Kalamaria and, since December 2022, he serves as a Pediatrician at the "Agios Loukas" Clinic in Thessaloniki. Until May 31, 2023, he practiced for four years as a private specialist physician in pediatric and adolescent medicine at a family/pediatric practice in Berlin. Dr. Xristos is a graduate of the Democritus University of Thrace. As part of his postgraduate training, he obtained a Certificate in Clinical Nutrition in Pediatrics after successful examinations (DGKJ) and recognition by the Ärztekammer Westfalen Lippe. He is an Authorized collaborator of the A' Test (school readiness screening) and has attended IBCLC Lactation Consultant Seminars. Koinakis Nikolaos is an Adult and Pediatric Cardiologist and maintains private practices in Kallithea, Glyfada, and Sitia, Crete. He is a graduate of Biology and the Medical School of the University of Crete. He specialized in cardiology at the General Hospital "Asklipieio" of Voula. During his specialization, he trained in pediatric cardiology at the General Children's Hospital "Agia Sofia". He pursued further training in advanced ultrasound techniques (stress echo, transesophageal echocardiography) at the General Hospital of Crete "Venizeleio".
