Είναι πτυχιούχος της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών. Ειδικεύθηκε στην Παίδο-Ωτορινολαρυγγολογία στο Νοσοκομείο Παίδων «Παναγιώτη & Αγλαΐας Κυριακού» και κατόπιν συνέχισε την ειδίκευσή του στην Ωτορινολαρυγγολογία στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Αθηνών «Γ. She holds a PhD from Democritus University of Thrace and is a graduate of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She specialized in Pediatric Otolaryngology and Adult Otolaryngology at the Penteli General Children’s Hospital and the General Hospital of Athens Korgialenio - Benakeio Hellenic Red Cross. The doctor is an Associate Otolaryngologist at several private hospitals and polyclinics, as well as with SOS Doctors. Dr. Athiana Ilektra is a Pediatric Gastroenterologist and maintains her private practice in Thessaloniki. She studied Medicine at Democritus University of Thrace. Subsequently, she specialized in Pediatrics in Sweden and further specialized in Pediatric Gastroenterology at the University Hospitals of Uppsala in Sweden as well as Basel in Switzerland. She collaborates with the Saint Lukas Clinic, the General Clinic of Thessaloniki, and is a Scientific Associate of the 3rd Pediatric Clinic of Aristotle University (Hippokration Hospital of Thessaloniki). She is a member of the European Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (ESPGHAN) endoscopy teaching faculty and maintains active collaborations with foreign hospitals.
