Ο Δρανίδης Γεώργιος είναι Οφθαλμίατρος και διατηρεί ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στη Θεσσαλονίκη. Κατόπιν εκπαιδεύτηκε στο Βαρδινογιάννειο Εργαστήριο Μεταμοσχεύσεων και Μικροχειρουργικής του Οφθαλμού (Β.Ε.Μ.Μ.Ο) του Πανεπιστημίου Κρήτης, υπό τον καθηγητή

Ι. Παλλήκαρη, εμπνευστή της μεθόδου LASIK για την διόρθωση των διαθλαστικών σφαλμάτων- μυωπία,αστιγματισμος,υπερμετρωπία και στην διορθωση της πρεσβυωπίας, καθώς και του κερατοκωνου.

Επίσης, εκπαιδεύτηκε στη Μ. Βρετανία στη χρήση βοτουλινικής τοξίνης για την εξάλειψη των ρυτίδων του προσώπου και τη θεραπεία του βλεφαρόσπασμου καθώς και στην εφαρμογή ενέσιμων σκευασμάτων υαλουρονικού οξέος για την εξάλειψη των ρυτίδων και ουλών του προσώπου.

Ο ιατρός ασχολείται με την αντιμετώπιση παθήσεων της ωχράς κηλίδας (ωχροπάθειες υγρού και ξηρού τύπου και διαβητικό οίδημα της ωχράς ή μετά από θρομβώσεις), με την χορήγηση των νέων αντιαγγειογενετικών παραγόντων (αντι - VEGF) και lasers. Ο Μικές Νομικάριος είναι Χειρουργός Οφθαλμίατρος με εξειδίκευση στις παθήσεις και τη χειρουργική του αμφιβληστροειδούς, του υαλοειδούς και της ωχράς κηλίδας, ενώ διαθέτει σημαντική εμπειρία και στην παιδιατρική οφθαλμολογία. Αποφοίτησε από την Ιατρική Σχολή του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών και ξεκίνησε την ειδίκευσή του στην Παιδοφθαλμολογία στο Νοσοκομείο Παίδων "Αγία Σοφία".

Μετά την επιστροφή του στην Ελλάδα, ολοκλήρωσε την ειδικότητά του στο Νοσοκομείο «Ευαγγελισμός» στην Αθήνα, αποκτώντας τον τίτλο ειδικότητας στην Οφθαλμολογία, καθώς και το Ευρωπαϊκό Δίπλωμα Οφθαλμολογίας. Παράλληλα, ολοκλήρωσε μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές στην Ιατρική Απεικόνιση στην Οφθαλμολογία.

Τα τελευταία δύο χρόνια εξειδικεύτηκε περαιτέρω στη χειρουργική του αμφιβληστροειδούς, του υαλοειδούς και της ωχράς κηλίδας στα νοσοκομεία Royal Berkshire Hospital (Reading) και Royal Victoria Infirmary (Newcastle) στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο.
