Είναι αριστούχος απόφοιτος της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Semmelweis και αριστούχος διδάκτωρ της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών. Το 2017 ολοκλήρωσε με βαθμό Άριστα τη διδακτορική του διατριβή με τίτλο «Συμβολή στη μελέτη της ποιότητας ζωής ασθενών που υποβλήθηκαν σε ρινοπλαστική», η οποία διερεύνησε την επίδραση της ρινοπλαστικής στη λειτουργικότητα, την ψυχολογία και τη συνολική ποιότητα ζωής των ασθενών.

Το 2021 ολοκλήρωσε μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές στη Διοίκηση Μονάδων Υγείας στο Ελληνικό Ανοικτό Πανεπιστήμιο. Παράλληλα έχει αναπτύξει επιστημονική δραστηριότητα με δημοσιεύσεις σε ελληνικά και διεθνή περιοδικά και ανακοινώσεις σε συνέδρια.

Είναι συγγραφέας στο επιστημονικό βιβλίο «Ερωτήσεις – Απαντήσεις Ρινολογίας», ενώ έχει συμμετάσχει σε περισσότερα από 30 εθνικά και διεθνή επιστημονικά συνέδρια.

Είναι μέλος του Ιατρικού Συλλόγου Αθηνών, της European Rhinologic Society, της European Rhinoplasty Society και της Πανελλήνιας Εταιρείας Ωτορινολαρυγγολογίας – Χειρουργικής Κεφαλής και Τραχήλου.

Διαθέτει άδεια άσκησης ιατρικού επαγγέλματος στην Ελλάδα, στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο και στη Νορβηγία.

Σήμερα διατηρεί ιδιωτικά ιατρεία σε Κηφισιά και Κρυονέρι και πραγματοποιεί χειρουργικές επεμβάσεις σε μεγάλα ιδιωτικά νοσοκομεία, όπως το Ιατρικό Αθηνών, το ΜΗΤΕΡΑ και το Διαβαλκανικό Θεσσαλονίκης, εφαρμόζοντας σύγχρονες τεχνικές και εξατομικευμένες θεραπευτικές προσεγγίσεις για κάθε ασθενή.

Silvestros Mpoukouvalas is an Otorhinolaryngologist, scientific collaborator at METROPOLITAN HOSPITAL, and maintains a private practice in Kallithea. He graduated from the Medical School of the University of Craiova in Romania. He worked as a General Surgery Resident at the University Surgical Department (Endocrine Glands) at Hippokration Hospital of Athens and as a Scientific Collaborator at the General Clinic Taxiarchai. Furthermore, he served as an Otorhinolaryngology Resident at the General Hospital Asklipieio Voulas and as an Otorhinolaryngologist in the Neuro-otology - Nasal Surgery Department of the same hospital. In his practice, he manages cases covering the entire spectrum of otorhinolaryngology. Notably, he specializes in allergology, endoscopic nasal and paranasal sinus surgery, functional rhinoplasty, as well as otology and audiology.
