Παράλληλα ανέπτυξε ιδιαίτερο ενδιαφέρον για την πλαστική χειρουργική του προσώπου και τη ρινοπλαστική. Στο πλαίσιο αυτό συνεργάστηκε με τον πλαστικό χειρουργό Σ. Κοτζαμπασάκης, αποκτώντας σημαντική εμπειρία στις τεχνικές λειτουργικής και αισθητικής αποκατάστασης της ρινός.

Στη συνέχεια εξειδικεύτηκε στη ρινολογία και την ενδοσκοπική χειρουργική των παραρρινίων κόλπων, παρακολουθώντας σειρά μετεκπαιδευτικών σεμιναρίων και χειρουργικών workshops στην Ελλάδα, στην Ευρώπη και στις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες. After his maritime service on Hellenic Navy ships as a Medical Officer, he specialized in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at the University ENT Clinics of "Papageorgiou" Hospital in Thessaloniki and "Attikon" Hospital in Athens, where he was trained in a large number of cases and surgical procedures, including tonsillectomies, adenoidectomies, thyroidectomies, salivary gland surgeries, rhinoplasties, septoplasties, etc. After obtaining his ENT specialization, he serves as a Consultant in the ENT Clinic of the Navy Hospital of Athens, where he undertakes patient care in the clinic and performs and participates in numerous surgical procedures in the field of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery. He has participated in specialized training concerning the management of nasal disorders (FESS - Endoscopic Sinus and Nasal Surgery) and surgical diseases of the ear. Finally, he has participated as a speaker and attendee in numerous seminars and conferences in his specialty and is an external collaborating surgeon at the Athenian Clinic, the Athens Bioclinic, and the ENT Clinic of Athens.

Koutsourelakis Ioannis MD, MSc, PhD is an Otolaryngologist Surgeon (ENT) who maintains a private practice in Ampelokipoi. He holds a Doctorate with a dissertation titled "Nasal obstruction and obstructive sleep apnea syndrome" and a Master's degree in "Minimally invasive surgery, Robotic surgery, telesurgery" from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, where he also completed his medical degree. He has specialized in the treatment of snoring and apnea in the Netherlands and the United States (Johns Hopkins Medical University, Weill Cornell Medical University). Koulentis Ioannis Md, PhD (c) is an ENT – Head and Neck Surgeon with a private practice in Alimos. He is a PhD candidate at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Rome "La Sapienza." In addition to his private practice, he serves as First Consultant at the ENT Clinic of Head and Neck Surgery at "Metropolitan General" and is a member of the Hellenic Rhinologic Society – Facial Plastic Surgery. His specialization was completed at the 2nd University Clinic of Attikon University General Hospital, the ENT Clinic of Penteli Children's Hospital, the 2nd Surgical Department of Thoracic Surgery at KAT Hospital, the 1st Surgical Clinic 251 of Athens General Hospital, and he has served as a Rural Physician at the Regional Clinic of Sykea, General Hospital of Molai, Laconia. Furthermore, he contributed as an author to the 24th edition of Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine, has been a regular speaker at scientific conferences, and served as an Instructor at the Clinical Workshop on “Endoscopic Swallowing Assessment” during the 19th Seminar of the Hellenic Rhinologic Society – Facial Plastic Surgery, the 19th Seminar on ENT Allergy, Immunology and Snoring Disorders, and the 3rd Seminar of the Hellenic Society of Phoniatrics and Swallowing Disorders, held at Attikon Hospital. He specializes in the management of disorders related to auditory function, nasal and paranasal sinus diseases, voice and swallowing disorders, and head and neck neoplasms.
