Ο Μπούτας Ιωάννης MD, MSc, PhD, MRBS είναι Γυναικολόγος - Μαιευτήρας με εξειδίκευση στις Παθήσεις και στην Χειρουργική του Μαστού, την οποία έλαβε στην Πανεπιστημιακή Κλινική του Νοσοκομείου Mainz της Γερμανίας, και διαθέτει ιδιωτικά ιατρεία στους Αμπελόκηπους και στο Παλαιό Φάληρο. Είναι Διδάκτωρ της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Εθνικού & Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών, με ειδικό αντικείμενο την θεραπεία του καρκίνου του μαστού, για την οποία έλαβε την υποτροφία αριστείας “Siemens” από το Ίδρυμα Κρατικών Υποτροφιών.
