Είναι Διδάκτωρ της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Εθνικού & Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών, με ειδικό αντικείμενο την θεραπεία του καρκίνου του μαστού, για την οποία έλαβε την υποτροφία αριστείας “Siemens” από το Ίδρυμα Κρατικών Υποτροφιών.
