Gynecologist - Obstetrician in North Aegean

Maria Tsivou is an Obstetrician - Gynecologic Surgeon and maintains a private practice in Karditsa. She was born in Karditsa. She graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She began her specialty training in General Surgery at the General Hospital of Attica “Sismanoglio - Amalia Fleming” and continued her specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Third Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic of the University General Hospital "Elena Venizelou" in Athens, where she was trained in managing complex obstetric and gynecologic cases, as well as performing deliveries and gynecologic surgeries. She holds a postgraduate degree in "Pathology of Pregnancy" from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a certification in "Nutrition and Healthy Pregnancy" from the Lifelong Learning and Training Center of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Sarafis Vasileios is a Gynecological Surgeon - Obstetrician, graduate of the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with a scholarship at Yale University, USA. He subsequently specialized and worked for 7 years in London in salaried consultant positions at leading hospitals in the United Kingdom. He specialized in gynecological ultrasound and fertility ultrasound, as well as all forms of assisted reproduction. Diagnoses in the clinic are supported by a state-of-the-art ultrasound machine, model 2023. He is the first to perform next-generation foam sonohysterography in Northern Greece and has trained several gynecologists in the new painless sonohysterography method. In assisted reproduction, he particularly focuses on medication-free in vitro fertilization (IVF in a natural cycle) for easier and side-effect-free treatments.

Dr Olivia FIORI was born in Paris and studied medicine at the Saint-Antoine Faculty of Medicine, Pierre and Marie Curie University Paris VI between 1990 and 1996. She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in 1996 and successfully passed the medical internship exam, deciding to specialize in Gynecology-Obstetrics. Between 1997 and 2004 she trained in the best university hospital departments in Paris under the supervision of internationally recognized professors of gynecology. From 2001 she chose to focus on reproductive medicine, a field that allowed her to combine her interest in endocrinology and gynecology. In parallel to her hospital training, she completed a Master’s degree in reproductive biology and a Master’s degree in developmental physiology at the University of Paris V. In 2004, she became head of clinic at the Paris Hospitals and worked in the reproductive medicine Assistance unit of Pr UZAN, at the TENON Hospital in Paris. In 2008 she left the public hospital and decided, with the precious help of a biologist trained in the department of Pr Frydman, to revitalize the Assisted Reproduction department in a private clinic near Paris. She has been practicing there until now and has performed nearly 4000 IVF giving birth to several hundred beautiful babies. Dr Fiori is convinced of the power of the mind over the body, as she has observed during her 20 years of practice. She trained in Medical Hypnosis at the Paris Medical University and at the Milton Erickson Foundation (Arizona-USA) to help each woman mobilize her inner resources to become a mother. Passionate about Greece since her teenage years and extremely impressed by the high quality of the Institute of Life’s assisted reproduction laboratory, Dr Olivia FIORI has chosen to divide her time between Paris and Athens to bring her expertise in the field of fertility to couples.

Salex Xalent is a Gynecologist - Obstetrician who maintains a private practice in the Piraeus area (near the Municipal Theater). He graduated with a scholarship from the Ministry of Education from the Medical School of the University of Jordan and continues his academic development with postgraduate studies in Reproductive - Regenerative Medicine at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), with active participation in the Department of Infertility, Sterility, and In Vitro Fertilization at the General Hospital of Athens "Alexandra." He completed his training in General Surgery at the 251 Air Force General Hospital and the General Children’s Hospital of Athens "P. & A. Kyriakou," and subsequently specialized in Gynecology - Obstetrics at the General Hospital of Patras "Agios Andreas." He is a member of the Piraeus Medical Association and the Athens Medical Association. Finally, he continuously attends and participates in conferences aiming to provide evidence-based, modern, and personalized care for women at every stage of their lives.
