General practitioners (GPs) in Prefecture of Cyclades

Dr. Nikolaos Kostakis is a General Practitioner with extensive professional experience in both Greece and abroad. He began his medical career in 2008 as a rural doctor at the Health Center of Siteia. From 2009 to 2010, he worked as a private physician at the "Cretan Medi Help" Medical Center in Heraklion, and in 2010, he continued his private practice at the "Asklipieion of Crete" private clinic. Between 2010 and 2011, he served as a rural doctor fulfilling his mandatory service at the Regional Clinic of Menetes in Karpathos. In 2013–2014, he gained international experience as a resident in General Practice at the "FLEN" Health Center in Sweden, and he completed his residency in Greece at the University General Hospital of Heraklion (PAGNI) from 2014 to 2017. Since 2017, he has been serving as a General Practitioner at the 1st Local Health Unit (TOMY) in Heraklion, and since 2025, he also maintains a private medical practice in the same city. He holds a medical degree from the Second University of Naples in Italy.  

Papaeuaggelou Vasiliki is an Internal Medicine Specialist and maintains a private practice in Trikala. She holds a degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, from which she graduated with honors in 2010. She specialized in a department of her medical specialty at the General Hospital of Karditsa and holds the certifications Strahlenschutz für Mediziner (Facharzt) and Abdomensonografie und Echokardiographie (transthoracic and transesophageal). This was followed by six years of professional experience in Germany, specifically in North Rhine-Westphalia, where she specialized in academic hospitals and clinics in the broad field of Internal Medicine. Today, in her well-equipped facility, comprehensive health services are offered with an emphasis on better and faster service as well as providing the care that everyone deserves. More specifically, she focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of all Internal Medicine diseases, addressing patients' problems based on international guidelines. Finally, she continuously updates her knowledge on all new developments, either by participating in scientific conferences and workshops or online as a member of numerous scientific associations.

Η Νιάρου Βασιλική είναι Ειδική Παθολόγος με εξειδίκευση στην Επείγουσα Ιατρική και διατηρεί ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στο κέντρο της Πάτρας. Είναι απόφοιτη του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών και ειδικευθείσα στην Παθολογική Κλινική του Πανεπιστημιακού Γενικού Νοσοκομείου Πατρών. Έλαβε μετεκπαίδευση στην Κλινική Ηπατολογία από την εταιρεία Μελέτης Ήπατος και είναι κάτοχος μεταπτυχιακού τίτλου στον Τομέα της Παγκόσμιας Υγείας από το Εθνικό Καποδιστριακό Πανεπιστήμιο. Εργάστηκε για δύο έτη στο Ογκολογικό Τμήμα του Πανεπιστημιακού Γενικού Νοσοκομείου Πατρών ως Επικουρική Παθολόγος και στη συνέχεια για έξη έτη ως Επιμελήτρια στο Τμήμα Επειγόντων Περιστατικών του ίδιου νοσοκομείου. Τέλος, είναι εκπαιδεύτρια στην εξειδικευμένη υποστήριξη ζωής (ALS) της Ελληνικής Εταιρείας Καρδιοαναπνευστικής Αναζωογόννησης.

Foteinos Xaralampos is a Pathologist and maintains a private practice in Pangrati. He is a graduate of the Medical School of Charles University in Prague and holds an ALS (Advanced Life Support) certification. He specialized in Pathology at the Academic Teaching Hospital of Duisburg, Germany, as well as at the 3rd Pathology Clinic of Korgialeneio - Benakeio N.E.E.S in Athens. Additionally, he serves as an External Collaborator at the Pathology - Infectious Diseases Clinic of Metropolitan General. Throughout his professional career, he has acquired valuable work experience by working in numerous hospitals in Germany and the United Kingdom. Finally, as part of his continuous education, the doctor regularly attends conferences to stay informed on topics related to pathology.
