After obtaining her medical specialty title, the physician remained at the Dermatology Clinic of the same University as an associate doctor, where she further specialized in venereal diseases and their treatment. Subsequently, she earned the specialty title in Dermatology – Venereology after four years of training at Diakonie Klinikum Bethesda and Klinikum Lippe hospitals in Germany, specializing in Clinical Dermatology, Pediatric Dermatology, and Nevus Mapping, with a particular focus on Dermatologic Surgery, performing over 600 procedures. She completed her specialty training in her homeland, where she worked for 8 months at the University Clinic of Heraklion Hospital in Crete. Η Μανωλάκου Παναγιώτα είναι Δερματολόγος - Αφροδισιολόγος και διατηρεί ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στα Πατήσια. Γεννήθηκε στην Πάτρα και αποφοίτησε με άριστα από το Αρσάκειο Πατρών και εισήχθη 9η με υποτροφία στο Εθνικό και Καποδιστριακό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών. Το 1977 έλαβε πτυχίο με Λίαν Καλώς και εκπλήρωσε την Υπηρεσία Υπαίθρου στο Αγροτικό Ιατρείου Λεχαινών Ηλείας την 3ετία 1977 - 1980. Από το 1980 - 1983 ειδικεύθηκε στην Δερματολογία - Αφροδισιολογία στο μεγαλύτερο Δερματολογικό κέντρο της Ελλάδος, στο νοσοκομείο Δερματικών και Αφροδίσιων Νόσων Αθηνών " Ανδρέας Συγγρός". Κατα τη διάρκεια της ειδικότητάς της δραστηριοποιήθηκε ιδιαίτερα στο τμήμα Patch tests (Δερματίτιδες Εξ επαφής) και στο τμήμα Φώτο - Βιολογίας (φωτοδερματοπάθειες). Το χρονικό αυτό διάστημα έλαβε μέρος στην συγγραφή πολλών επιστημονικών εργασιών που δημοσιεύθηκαν σε ιατρικά περιοδικά ή ανακοινώθηκαν σε δερματολογικά συνέδρια. She holds a PhD in Medicine from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and is a graduate of the Medical School of the same institution. Additionally, she has received postgraduate training in "Medical Psychology" at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and specialized at the University Dermatology, Venereology, and Allergology Clinic Charité in Berlin, as well as at the 2nd University Dermatology and Venereology Clinic of the University General Hospital "Attikon". She has served as a Scientific Collaborator at the "Andreas Syggros" Hospital in the Photodynamic Therapy Department and the Oncology Department of the Nevus and Melanoma Unit, and as a Clinical Observer in the hospital's clinical and educational program.
