Furthermore, she worked for three years as a dentist for adults with HIV at a specialized HIV Medical Center in London.

She was admitted to the Faculty of Dentistry at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, ranked 1st, receiving an honorary award from the University from where she graduated in 2016.

She commenced her specialization in Orthodontics at the Orthodontics Department of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, from which she obtained her Postgraduate Diploma, and was awarded the title of Specialist Orthodontist following examinations by the Central Health Council (K.E.S.Y.) of the Ministry of Health. As part of her specialization program, she completed a thesis entitled “Cervical headgear effectiveness in distalizing molars in relation to patients’ compliance,” which was published in the European Journal of Orthodontics.

Dr Maria P Malandreni - Md Dds Msc Mclindent Mfds Rcsed is an Oral Surgeon and operates a dental clinic exclusively practicing Oral Surgery in Galatsi, aiming to transfer the knowledge and experience gained both within and outside Greece, with care and responsibility for the benefit of her patients. She holds degrees from both the Medical School (MD) and the Dental School (DDS) of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She shaped her professional and academic career in the United Kingdom for a decade. She completed a specialization in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, recognized by the National Health Service (NHS) of Great Britain at the University Hospitals Royal Sussex County Hospital and Dorset Hospitals. Subsequently, she was admitted to the postgraduate Oral Surgery program at University College London, from which she graduated with distinction. She successfully passed the MJDF1 and MFDS2 examinations of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Edinburgh, respectively. Following this, she was accepted into the postgraduate Implantology program at the University of Bristol, from which she also graduated with distinction. She worked as a Specialty Doctor in Maxillofacial Surgery in Head and Neck Hospital departments for 8 years and as a Dentist specializing in Oral Surgery in a private clinic in central London for 7 years. Upon returning from England, she obtained the Oral Surgery Specialty title from the Ministry of Health. Alongside her clinical practice, she is engaged in research and scientific projects both in Greece and the United Kingdom.
