Dr. Margouta Anastasia is a Pathologist and maintains a private practice in Evosmos, Thessaloniki. She holds a Doctorate and a Master's Degree from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
Dr. Margouta specializes in hypertension and diabetes mellitus, the holistic management of obesity, as well as stress. She has worked for many years in university hospitals in Greece and abroad. The services she provides include: regulation and monitoring of blood pressure with 24-hour recording using a high-precision Holter monitor, diabetes management and control, early and timely detection of complications of diabetes mellitus affecting the small and large vessels of the body (retinopathy, neuropathy, nephropathy, coronary heart disease, peripheral vascular disease, and cerebrovascular disease) and aggressive management of these in collaboration with leading colleagues of the corresponding specialties. She undertakes the nutritional and pharmacological management of serious chronic diseases. The goal is to teach the correct dietary habits tailored individually to each patient's health condition. Additionally, she provides early diagnosis and treatment of specific infections. Furthermore, she has undergone further training in issues related to obesity, stress, and health. She has participated in clinical studies approved by the National Organization for Medicines (EOF) and in research projects, with publications in Greek and international medical journals, as well as articles in magazines and books in both Greek and foreign languages. She has also specialized in major hospitals in London and Zurich, Switzerland.
